About the Architect
Kristoffer D. Aquino is the lead designer and principal architect of KDA Design + Architecture, an independent architectural studio based in Quezon City, Philippines. With nearly two decades of experience in residential, commercial, and real estate-integrated projects, Kristoffer brings clarity, creativity, and construction insight to every design solution. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Manila in 2005—one of the country’s premier institutions for architectural education. His early professional foundation was shaped by a two-year apprenticeship at WM Arch Studio, under the mentorship of Architect Willyhado T. Mercurio. Kristoffer became a licensed architect in the Philippines after successfully passing the June 2007 Architecture Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Shortly after, he launched his own practice, which has since grown into a collaborative studio supported by trusted engineering consultants, builders, and creative partners. Today, his work spans from modern tropical house design and private residences to mixed-use developments, commercial spaces, and interiors. His approach is rooted in functionality, feasibility, and purpose—always tailored to the unique needs of each client.
