MP Beach Resort

MP Beach Resort was envisioned as a contemporary tropical destination that embraces the natural beauty of its beachfront setting while providing a relaxing and memorable guest experience. Developed as a conceptual architectural proposal, the design explores the seamless integration of hospitality, recreation, and nature through a carefully planned resort environment that prioritizes comfort, openness, and a strong connection to the landscape.

The masterplan organizes the development into distinct yet interconnected zones, featuring a welcoming front building with commercial spaces and resort amenities, two accommodation wings, landscaped courtyards, a swimming pool, gazebos, and outdoor activity areas. Guest rooms are oriented to maximize views, natural ventilation, and daylight, while lush tropical planting creates a serene transition between built spaces and the beachfront. The overall composition encourages guests to experience the resort through a sequence of landscaped walkways, shaded gathering spaces, and recreational facilities that foster both relaxation and social interaction.

Architecturally, the project adopts a refined tropical contemporary language characterized by clean geometric forms, exposed concrete frames, warm timber accents, expansive glazing, and deep overhangs that provide shade while enhancing the visual rhythm of the buildings. The restrained material palette creates a timeless aesthetic that responds to the coastal environment, balancing durability with warmth and elegance. Interior and exterior spaces are visually connected, allowing natural light, sea breezes, and surrounding greenery to become integral elements of the guest experience.

Although the project remained at the conceptual stage, it demonstrates KDA Design + Architecture's approach to hospitality design—creating environments that are both commercially viable and experientially rich. The proposal reflects a vision for a boutique beach resort where architecture complements the landscape, promotes a relaxed tropical lifestyle, and establishes a distinctive identity rooted in its coastal setting.
